THE ORIGINAL INGHAM METHOD

You can learn effective Reflexology to keep yourself and your family healthy or as a new career. Our classes will open the world of Reflexology to you and get you started with the right technique - the original Ingham method.

The late Eunice Ingham originated, researched and developed Reflexology as it is known today, and founded the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR) now headed by her nephew, Dwight Byers.

At the IIR we've been training and certifying Reflexologists for 60 years, and we're very good at it. The IIR certification is the standard in the field, both in America and internationally. In fact, just about everyone teaching or writing books about Reflexology today was trained by Eunice or Dwight or the people they trained.

At the IIR Phase I/Phase II classes we teach not only basic Reflexology, but the fine points of technique that enable the Reflexologist to be more effective and to work for many hours without tiring, and for many years without hand damage. At the Advanced Proficiency class we teach hand reflexology and an advanced torquing technique of foot Reflexology that enables the advanced student to become even more effective.

Completion of the IIR certification program constitutes a 200 hour class, which is the necessary prerequisite for the American Reflexology Board (ARCB) certification test. Because some spas and professional offices require this certification, we recommend that our certified students also become certified by ARCB.

David Cook is the representative of the International Institute in New York City, and teaches their courses. For class schedules and information on how classes are taught, click here or call 718-885-0557.
